Terms and Conditions
1. Services Covered
This policy applies to all yoga offerings provided, including:
• Weekly group yoga classes
• Personal (private) sessions
• Themed workshops
• Online sessions
2. Booking and Payment Terms
• Booking Methods: You can book sessions via the website or by email. If booking by email, a secure payment link will be sent to confirm your space.
• Payment Requirements: Payment is required at the time of booking and must be received prior to attending the session.
• Accepted Payment Methods: Online bookings and payment links accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal. Cash payments for future classes may be made in advance by arrangement.
• Securing Your Space: A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• General Bookings: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a refund, minus card processing fees.
• Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session, or failure to attend, are non-refundable.
• Courses: No refunds or credits are issued for missed sessions within a block booking.
• Workshops: Refunds are only available if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. No refunds for late cancellations or no-shows.
• 5 week Block class bookings: Where 5 weeks are not taken consecutively, class spaces need to be booked in advance with the class teacher and are subject to availability. Credits will expire 3 months after date of purchase.
4. Participant Responsibilities and Class Conduct
• Health and Safety: All participants are required to complete a health form at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to inform the teacher of any changes to your health that may affect your practice, so that sessions can be tailored appropriately. If you have any medical conditions, please seek advice or clearance from a relevant health professional before joining a class.
• Respectful Conduct: Please treat the teacher and fellow participants with kindness and respect.
• Class Readiness: Arrive in good time to settle before the session begins. To maintain a calm and focused environment, ensure mobile phones are switched off or silenced, and enter the space quietly.
• Accessibility and Support Needs: If you have any additional support needs, please get in touch before attending. I aim to make every class as inclusive and accessible as possible.
5. Liability and Personal Responsibility
Yoga is a personal practice, and you are responsible for listening to your body throughout. If you experience any pain or discomfort during a session, please stop the position immediately and inform the teacher. Yoga may be physically challenging, but it should never cause pain. You are encouraged to honour your limits and rest as needed.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act and stored securely. Only the class teacher has access to this information. I collect only the minimal details necessary to provide a safe and appropriate class experience.
7. Teacher Availability and Class Changes
In the event that I am unable to run a class due to illness or emergency, you will be offered either a full refund, a credit, or the option to reschedule. I will always aim to communicate changes as promptly and clearly as possible.
