New Year, New Focus

As we enter a new year, many of us focus on making fresh commitments, an opportunity to start new things as we think about the year stretching ahead of us. It gives us a moment to appreciate the amount of time we have, a whole year, 12 full months available to use as we wish, new possibilities are on the horizon.
In our yoga practice, we are looking to slow that process down, allow moments to feel grateful for the year we have just finished, the time we have had and look for what aspects helped us to feel more contentment. Taking time to consider which path we take next, simplifying our plans. Asking ourselves ‘what truly matters?’ before setting our intentions. Choosing one or two goals to focus on will help you remain committed and support you to keep focused through the distractions that come.
Attending Yoga can be a fantastic way to start helping your focus, set intentions and to keep commitment. Exploring postures in class which help the body to detoxify and breathwork to help clear the mind for those new journeys yet to come. Why not join me at one of my classes to start your new focus.
